A Keys plumber, not a call center

Keys nearly doubled in population between 2010 and 2020, from 565 people to 1,030. New houses and new lines mean a different kind of call than an old farmhouse: manifolds and PEX instead of galvanized, slab foundations instead of crawl spaces, propane instead of a gas main.

You still get the same deal from us. Dustin answers the phone, tells you which day he can come, and quotes the job before he starts. The number he says is the number you pay. No hourly meter, no guessing. Oklahoma plumbing license OK203156.

We answer calls 7 AM to 5 PM and we are not a 24-hour outfit. If something lets go after hours, shut the water off at the meter and call in the morning. If you smell propane, get out, shut the tank valve if you can reach it safely, and call 911 or your propane supplier from outside first.

Straight about our hours

We are not a 24-hour company

We work 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and turn up when we say. If something goes wrong after hours, do this first:

  • Water where it shouldn't be

Shut off the main valve. Once the water is off, it can wait for a proper repair.

  • You smell gas

Leave the house. From outside, call 911 and your gas company.

  • Sewage coming up a drain

Stop running water: no flushing, no laundry. Then call us.

Do you run propane gas lines in Keys?

Yes. We install and repair the gas piping from the tank to the range, the water heater, the furnace, a garage heater or a grill stub, and we pressure-test it before we call it done. The tank and the first regulator stay with your propane supplier, and we will tell you if that is where your trouble is.

My water pressure dropped across the whole house. Is that my plumbing?

Maybe not. Keys is on Rural Water District #2, and district repairs, a line break or a pump problem upstream will drop pressure in every fixture at once. Call the district first. If they are running normally, then it is on your side of the meter and we will find out whether it is the line, a filter, a pressure regulator or a valve.

How much do you charge to come to Keys?

A phone estimate, or one off a photo you text, is free. If Dustin has to come look before he can price it, that visit carries a trip charge and he tells you what it is before he drives out. Once you approve the job it is one flat price, not an hourly meter, and it does not change if the work runs long.

We only use our place near the lake part of the year. What should we do before winter?

Shut the water off at the meter, drain the lines from the lowest point, take care of the water heater, and do not leave a hose on a bib. If you would rather someone do it right, we will winterize the place and open it back up in the spring. It is cheaper than one split line in a wall.
