A Park Hill plumber, not a call center

Park Hill is not a town with a water department to call, so when something goes wrong it is your line, your meter, your septic tank and your problem. That is the part most plumbing companies never explain. Dustin will tell you where the district's responsibility stops and yours starts, and what that means for the job in front of you.

We quote the job before we start. The number we say is the number you pay — even if the job runs long or hits a surprise. Oklahoma plumbing license OK203156. Calls are answered 7 AM to 5 PM; we are not a 24-hour company, and we say so instead of advertising a promise we would break.

Outside the Tahlequah city limits there is often no local plumbing inspector at all. When that is the case, a licensed plumber is supposed to notify the Construction Industries Board that the work was done without a local permit. We do that. It is one of the plainest differences between a licensed plumber and a truck with a magnet sign.

Straight about our hours

We are not a 24-hour company

We work 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and turn up when we say. If something goes wrong after hours, do this first:

  • Water where it shouldn't be

Shut off the main valve. Once the water is off, it can wait for a proper repair.

  • You smell gas

Leave the house. From outside, call 911 and your gas company.

  • Sewage coming up a drain

Stop running water: no flushing, no laundry. Then call us.

My drains back up and I am on septic. Do I need a plumber or a septic company?

Both exist for a reason and we will tell you which one you need. If one fixture is slow, it is a plumbing stoppage. If every drain in the house is slow, the tub gurgles when the toilet flushes, and the yard smells, the tank or the field is the problem, and cabling the line only buys a few days. Dustin will look before anybody sells you anything.

Can you find a leak in the line between my meter and the house?

That is one of our regular Park Hill jobs. Long buried runs on big lots leak at old couplings and clamps. We locate it first, show you where it is, then quote the repair as a flat price. Digging the whole run is the last resort, not the first move.

What does it cost to work out here, since Park Hill is outside town?

Talk it through on the phone, or text a photo, and the estimate is free. If the job has to be seen before it can be priced, coming out carries a trip charge and Dustin tells you the amount first. Approve the work and it is one flat price, quoted before we start, with no hourly meter.

Can you treat the water in a Park Hill house that is on a well?

Yes, inside the house, and we start with a test rather than a sales pitch. Iron, sulfur smell, sediment and hardness each need a different piece of equipment, and buying the wrong one is how people end up with an expensive tank that changed nothing. If a test says your water is fine and the problem is a fixture, we will say that too. The well itself, the pump and the pressure tank are a licensed pump installer's work.
