A Lost City plumber, not a call center
This is a quiet community — the population has barely moved in twenty years — and quiet communities get skipped by companies chasing city work. We work here. Call or text a photo and the estimate is free. If Dustin has to come look before he can price it, there is a trip charge and you hear what it is up front.
Dustin answers the phone 7 AM to 5 PM, tells you what day he can be there, and prices the job before he starts. The number he says is the number you pay. Oklahoma plumbing license OK203156.
We are not a 24-hour company. If a line lets go tonight, shut the water off at the meter or kill the breaker to the well pump, and call us in the morning.
The median home here dates to about 1983 and nine in ten are lived in by their owners. Owner-occupied houses of that age tend to have been maintained in pieces: a new water heater ten years ago, a replaced toilet, one re-run supply line, and the rest of the plumbing exactly as it was built. Our job is usually to sort out which original part is now the weak link — often the main shut-off valve, which nobody tests until the day it matters.
About one home in six heats with propane and another one in six with wood, so this is not a piped-gas community. Electric water heaters do most of the hot-water work, and sediment is their enemy: a tank that pops, rumbles or runs short on hot water usually has scale sitting on the lower element. Flushing helps early. Once an element has burned out under the scale, it is a repair, and once the tank leaks it is a replacement, and we will say which one you have.
Water comes from wells and small rural lines out here, and we work the house side of that: old galvanized pipe that rusts shut from the inside and cuts your pressure in half, the shut-off where the line comes in, and the treatment equipment inside. We don't work on wells — that takes a separate Oklahoma Water Resources Board license. For the well, pump or pressure tank, call a licensed pump installer. Everything from where the line enters the house is ours.
Fort Gibson Lake is west of here, so this is also lake-adjacent country, with places that sit empty part of the year. An empty house with the water on is how a two-dollar washer turns into a floor repair. If you are gone for weeks at a time, shut the water off at the meter — it is free and it works.

Straight about our hours
We are not a 24-hour company
We work 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and turn up when we say. If something goes wrong after hours, do this first:
Water where it shouldn't be
Shut off the main valve. Once the water is off, it can wait for a proper repair.
You smell gas
Leave the house. From outside, call 911 and your gas company.
Sewage coming up a drain
Stop running water: no flushing, no laundry. Then call us.

My well pump keeps clicking on and off. What is wrong?
That short-cycling almost always means the pressure tank has lost its air charge, so the pump has nothing to cushion against. It points at the well system, not at your house plumbing, and it is not work we do. Call a licensed pump installer, and call soon, because short-cycling is what kills pumps.
How long does it take you to get to Lost City?
About 23 minutes for the 13 miles, depending on which road you are off. That is drive time, not a promise about the hour we will arrive. Dustin books a day and tells you honestly if he is running behind.
What will the bill be?
One flat price for the job, agreed before we start, with no hourly meter. We do not publish prices, because an honest number needs to know what the job actually is. Tell Dustin the symptoms and that estimate is free. If he has to come out and look before he can price it, he tells you the trip charge before he drives.
We are away for months at a time. What should we do about the plumbing?
Shut the water off at the meter and open a faucet to drop the pressure. If the house will be unheated through winter, it needs draining properly, not just the water turned off — and we will do that for you and open it back up when you come home.
